After first being, announced at Baselworld in March of 2015, Montegrappa recently released the groundbreaking new Q1 fountain pen, following a period of over 2 years of research that resulted in an industrial patent for the world’s first multi-cartridge fountain pen. Made of pure, ultra-tough titanium, fine Italian leather and corrosion-resistant stainless steel for the international parts, the Q1’s primary innovation is that it allows a writer to easily swap ink colors with the flick of a thumb.

With only 100 units in production, the Q1 is one of the most advanced and exclusive writing instruments Montegrappa has ever produced. The pen joins other highly collectable designs as part of Montegrappa’s “Cult Collection”, giving fountain pen collectors and aficionados the chance to own a piece of writing instrument history.
